Quick Fixes or Tips

Most golfers are looking for quick fixes or tips. That what we’ve all been conditioned to do. All the major golf magazines are dedicated to feeding you quick fixes. That is not what we’re trying to do with Symple Swing.

What we are trying to do with Symple Swing is to help you learn and master good swing habits. When you do learn good swing habits through Symple Swing they will stay with you forever. Yes, you can have brief “memory lapses” but almost always you can get back on track in one or two swings just by going back to the “Symple Swing basics”.

Symple Swing was designed from the ground up to make it dramatically easier for the average person to master good swing habits. The traditional swing is so complicated with so many moving parts that it takes many years, if not decades, to master. The good swing habits that are the basis of Symple Swing are actually the same as the good swing habits for the traditional swing. If you look at a Symple Swinger through impact they will look almost identical to the impact position of a traditional swinger. Symple Swing just makes it a lot easier to get into that good impact position.

Symple Swing may be simple but we fully realize that it’s still not easy for most folks. Most of us have lot’s of baggage (bad habits) from previous swings to unlearn. Unfortunately the cause we see most often when someone struggles with Symple Swing is lack of full commitment to Symple Swing. That’s understandable because over the years most of us have tried a number of golf swings and golf swing fixes that have only partially worked. We’re hesitant to give up “our baggage” to fully commit to something new.

Most people who come to Symple Swing don’t, at first, make a full commitment to Symple Swing. By that I mean they “fight it” in one way or another. They try Symple Swing but they try it with their own modifications. They try grip changes, then they try stance changes and a whole bunch of other changes. While Symple Swing can work with a good number of modifications the quickest way to learn to play good golf is straight unmodified Symple Swing. I would suggest that you try unmodified Symple Swing unless you are a single digit player who really understands the mechanics of a golf swing.

Symple Swing is different. It does require commitment to do something different. The grip is different and the stance is different. However the biggest difference is that Symple Swing lets the “average golfer” for the first time play really “good golf”. When you rip most every shot down the middle with Symple Swing people immediately stop talking about anything different with your swing and they start talking about all the good shots (and how you never hit shots like that before).

Go through the learning sequence (chipping first working your way up). If you have trouble USE THE SUPPORT SYSTEM. Send us an e-mail. If you’re really struggling send a video clip or video tape. Even if you don’t have a camera almost everyone can find a friend or family member who could video a couple of swings for you. BTW, you don’t have to be hitting balls. Just video your swing out in your back yard. We’d be happy to review it. You can send e-mails directly to us at Support@SimpleGolf.com. We’ll even call you and give you a free phone lesson. We want you to succeed. Before you strike out on your own and make too many modifications you should make very sure you’ve exhausted all your support options. We haven’t given up on anyone yet and we don’t plan to.

While Symple Swing does have an extremely high success rate we do have some drop outs. One nice thing we’re seeing is 3 to 6 months later many of these drop outs come back to Symple Swing often after trying something else in the meantime. This time most of them are ready to make a commitment and they are successful. If you fail with Symple Swing it will be because you gave up on yourself because we fully believe in Symple Swing and we’re not going to give up on you.
