Powakaddy Release Details of New Electric Golf Trolley

The lead brand in electric golf trolleys, PowaKaddy, has released details of their latest, state of the art, electric golf trolley, the PowaKaddy Freeway 2. Targeted for an April 2009 release, the new Freeway 2 is a golfers dream.

This new Freeway 2, which replaced the best selling Freeway golf trolley, is designed for any type of terrain, with quick release front wheels you can adapt the wheels on course or even add the additional wide wheels for hilly courses, aswell as this, the new PowaKaddy Freeway 2 has a new sleek design, ultra quiet motor, and a huge range of new features.

The biggest new features are the soft grip, multi function control pad and the LCD screen, all these features help each other to help the golfer. The LCD screen features a Distance Measuring Facility which can measure how far you have hit the ball and the total distance travelled in the entire round.

The LCD screen also features a Digital Distance Function which allows the golfer to set the trolley to proceed forwards for a set distance before stopped, it can be set to 10, 20 or 30 yards/meters.

Aswell as those great features, the LCD screen will also display current travelling speed, time and battery power.

As for the battery, the brand new Freeway II features an ultra lightweight battery which is up to 75% lighter than a standard acid battery. You can also choose between a 18 or 36 hole traditional lead acid battery. Every one of these batteries are placed on the ultra lightweight frame which can be packed and folded effortlessly.

It really does seem that PowaKaddy are the lead brand in making electric golf trolleys and it seems that they will be attracting some attention from their rival golf trolley manufacturers, however, while the competitors try and think up a better idea, the new PowaKaddy golf trolley is set for release in April 2009 and will cost around £650. Also, when you buy one of these great new trolleys, it comes with a 2 year warrenty, so you wont need to worry if it drives itself into a bunker.
