Hypnosis and Golf — A Ninja Tactic

In their desire for a better game, golfers will resort to just about anything.  Some focus not just on their game but on winning.

Hypnotic techniques have become a mind power training “secret weapon” for some winning players.  It can be a great way to develop concentration and clarity.

There’s a perhaps unethical aspect of hypnotic methods that I have to mention.

No one would argue with using it to improve your own game, but some people go farther and, let’s say, “help” the rest of the foursome by implanting suggestions.

When they do this, an adversary who may be may find themselves somehow shanking the ball, spending a lot of time in the rough, making poor shot decisions, deciding to try to drive the green when they shouldn’t, or making any number of other such missteps.

There are innumerable times in the game of golf where a golfer makes choices that influence their performance.

We all know that the difference between a great round and a lousy one is minimal.  The least imperfection destroys a shot and costs at least a stroke.

It’s up to you to decide the ethics of this, but conversational hypnosis does give someone a way to affect their opponent’s state of mind in addition to their confidence.  Some say “All’s fair in love and war”.  Maybe that’s true in golf as well.

Now you can’t actually take over control of another person’s.  You can’t influence them to do something they find morally offensive.

But you can issue embedded commands or create doubt and by doing so definitely influence their thought process.

You may have played with some character that used tactics like talking while you’re addressing your tee shot, or standing so his shadow runs across the line of your putt or other things like that in an attempt to distract you.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a way to repay the favor?  That’s what the type of hypnosis I’m about to let you in on can do for you.

Conversational hypnosis is especially effective in this regard.  With this style of hypnosis there’s no predetermined script.  You definitely don’t swing a watch in front of the subjects eyes.

Rather, you simply, but in certain manner.  Once you learn how, it’s no problem to create an “awake trance”.  Once you’ve done that you’re able to weave your guidance and command statement into the flow of talk.  This type of hypnosis is an extremely effective use of words.

A great benefit about learning this technique to help your golf game is that once you know how to use it you can apply it in other areas of your life.

People very successfully use hypnosis to improve their relationships, change habits, and attain goals – really for any instance where you’d like to harness the power of the subconscious (your own or another person’s).
