Brilliant golf courses

Here are my personal favourite top five golf courses in the world, these really are brilliant courses. Get those electric golf trolleys ready, here come the best of the best.
5. Shinecock Hills Golf Club
This is a brilliant course that has been the host to four US opens. A very challenging course is this one, your certainly going to struggle to get the usual handicap on this one. The course itself was first designed in 1891 with further amendments occuring in 1930, with no changes happening since it just goes to show a perfect course has no faults.
4. St Andrews (old)
This is more than likely the oldest golf course in the world with golf rumoured to have been played here way back in the 12th century. Although being the home to golf it does apprently not treat the newcomers to it very well, with many people saying they would never play there again. It is a course that you have to get to know and love before you actually enjoy playing here.
3. At number three is Cypress golf club
the vast majority of people will never get a chance to play on this course as it only has 250 members but the last few holes have been called the best in golf. This had to come into the top five, I have never actually played this course but always wanted too.
2. Number two is Royal County Down
This course has been voted the best course in the UK, locaded in Ireland it was designed way back in 1889 with huge modifcations made in 1908. Some of the best golf I have ever played has been on this course which is why it is at the number two slot, of course it is a stunning course which helps.
1.At number one is the brilliant Pine Valley
This course really had to take the number one spot purely down to the fact it is the best looking course I have ever seen. The course itself is brilliant with only one thing i suggest avoiding and that is the 10ft bunker containing no sand to get out with! If you get the ball into this bunker then you are most certainly stuffed.
Thats it, the top five golf courses in world have now been chosen. No need to charge up those golf batteries when you have the caddies at these places to drag your clubs around for you.
