Golf can be a frustrating sport. It does not matter if you are a beginner, or a more advanced player, you can always obtain a lower golf score. The key to lowering your handicap is learning to consistently groove whatever club you need to hit the ball 150 yards. If you are accurate with this club, your game will drastically improve.

You can not reach new levels in your game until you have developed “feel” feel is a term meaning in touch. Or to become one, not a part of, but more one with. As far as golf is concerned being one with the green is the same as having touch. It is the ultimate way to quickly lower your golf handicap.

Major key to playing better golf is obvious practicing frequently in order to  consistently shoot low scores. In the end, it all comes down to your swing. Excellent ball striking helps towards hitting great scores. Finding a golf swing that is easy to implement and easy to repeat is the key to shooting lower scores on the course and keeping your handicap down. You will have less thinking in your swing process and make clear decisions.

Take Your Game to New Levels How To Break 80

So lets take a look at what you should be doing when you practice to maximize your time.

1.Hitting lots of balls for the sake of hitting lots of balls is not recommended. You have got to have a plan and take your time. Try not hit through your balls to fast you will develop bad habits. Take it easy and take your time.

2. Golf is a game that is 90% percent mental so before every shot you hit at the range I want you to visualize yourself hitting a great shot. Furthermore, after hitting the shot reflect for a moment on the shot and try and understand why the shot was good or bad.

3. Bring a pad and pencil to record your thoughts and then review your notes after your practice session. I know it’s a little cheesy but it does help, I wouldn’t lie.

4. Start your practice with an easy relaxed swing using your short irons and gradually work your way to driver. You should only use maximum power when your swing has gotten to a consistent smoothness & fluid rhythm.

5. Create targets with different distances and try land the ball within a 2-5 metre area. Having good distance with bad accuracy is worthless and can be expensive.

Developing a practice plan will allow you to achieve maximum results during your time at the practice range.Lowering your handicap doesn’t come by playing on the golf course you need to practice frequently preferably twice a week and before you know it, your scores will drop dramatically.
